game show games — variance or vibes?

Those wheel-style game show games feel completely rigged when you're losing and like pure genius game design when you're winning. I know it's variance. Variance is a heck of a drug though.

It's all RNG with confetti on top. I treat it like buying a movie ticket that occasionally refunds itself. Keeps my expectations in the right place.

'Refunds itself' — I'm framing it exactly that way from now on. Healthy mindset, confetti and all.
